Our advanced R&D platform, supported by a dedicated database, allows you to view, verify, and validate all relevant information quickly and securely, ensuring full control and transparency throughout the entire process. 

    The system is simple and intuitive to use, requiring only an Internet connection. No software installation on the client’s PC is necessary; any standard browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) is sufficient.

    Compatibility is guaranteed with any operating system used by the client.

    Access and Features
    Access is secured via the Internet with a login and password reserved for the client organization. Available 24/7, 365 days a year, the system offers the following features:

    • Multiple authorization levels based on instructions from the client organization:

  • Neutron Dosimetry

    LB Servizi is one of the few dosimetry laboratories in Italy capable of offering a dosimetric system for environments with exposure to neutron radiation.

    The thermal neutron dosimeter consists of an outer casing with appropriate differential filtration between the part facing the radiation field and the rear part, and two sensitive elements: a LiF (Mg, Cu, P) – GR200A detector and a LiF (Mg, Cu, P) – GR207A detector.

    Our specialized expertise sets us apart, enabling us to deliver highly accurate neutron-exposure assessments through the use of advanced technologies and state-of-the-art procedures. 

    The sensitive material of the fast neutron dosimeter is an organic polymer made of Poly Allyl Diglycol Carbonate (commercially CR-39), placed on a 1 mm thick plastic support. Interaction of incident neutron radiation with the material produces charged particles, alpha particles, and recoil protons, which create structural damage (tracks) along their path within the polymer.

    A chemical etching process makes the tracks visible using digital scanners. Counting the tracks on the material, after proper calibration, allows the evaluation of the relevant dosimetric quantities.

    Dosimeters can also be used in multiple configurations, combined with TL dosimeters for thermal neutron radiation, within the same packaging.

  • TL Dosimetry

    Thermoluminescent (TL) dosimetry is one of the most reliable and established methods for assessing exposure to ionizing radiation. The thermoluminescent dosimeter ensures an accurate evaluation of radiation exposure using state-of-the-art procedures and equipment.

    The outer casing is thin, lightweight, impact- and weather-resistant, and perfectly symmetrical. Due to the small size of the sensitive material, this technique is also suitable for extremity and lens dosimetry.

    LB Servizi provides detectors enclosed in casings that can be cold-sterilized for immersion in bactericidal liquids.

  • Film Dosimetry

    The film badge provides an accurate assessment of exposure to ionizing radiation, using state-of-the-art methods and equipment.

    The outer casing is thin, lightweight, highly durable, and perfectly symmetrical. The sensitive material consists of two different films coated with emulsions of differing sensitivity, all enclosed in a light-proof plastic casing. The sensitive surface is divided into five differently filtered areas.

    A complex algorithm is used to evaluate the exposure dose based on the darkening measurements in the five differently filtered zones.
