TL Dosimetry
Thermoluminescent (TL) dosimetry is one of the most reliable and established methods for assessing exposure to ionizing radiation. The thermoluminescent dosimeter ensures an accurate evaluation of radiation exposure using state-of-the-art procedures and equipment.
The outer casing is thin, lightweight, impact- and weather-resistant, and perfectly symmetrical. Due to the small size of the sensitive material, this technique is also suitable for extremity and lens dosimetry.
LB Servizi provides detectors enclosed in casings that can be cold-sterilized for immersion in bactericidal liquids.
Applications
- Assessment of exposure to ionizing radiation (X-rays, beta, gamma, and electrons)
- Particularly suitable for extremity dosimetry
Features
- Automatic reading and data acquisition system
- Drastic reduction of the risk of dose misattribution
- High measurement sensitivity
- Negligible fading over one month
- Detectors can be sterilized via immersion in bactericidal liquid
- Customizable data on identification labels
